So we have great news everybody… Kristi’s surgery was a success. The surgery took about 5 hours because they had to pull out the bar and then they did the modified Ravitch procedure. They said that her right lung had been pressed between the bar and the chest breast bone… and that this is why she felt like someone was stabbing her in the chest every time she laughed and coughed. She is doing 10 times better than she was at the end of the other 2 surgerys. All she can say is that she is so excited that she can breathe… which she couldn’t really do all summer. I will update more later. Only got 4 hours of sleep. Gonna crash.
